喜樂蒂公犬Mojo到本院就診時約1歲，在就診前2個月（10月齡時），因跌傷導致左上第一門齒（201）斷牙，經評估患犬斷牙的牙髓已外露，屬於複雜性牙冠斷裂（complicated crown fracture）。
經陳院長的評估後，毛孩需要做根管治療（endodontics），但診斷過程發現斷端太過接近牙齦溝（gingival sulcus），導致表面積不足，若根管治療後直接裝上單顆牙的牙冠（crown），可能會因為固持力（retention）不足而脫落。

採用「根管治療後加裝牙釘（post）」與「3D列印金屬牙橋」輔助治療。

因此本院的陳重威獸醫師評估後決定幫患犬在根管治療後加裝牙釘(post)，並加裝3D列印的金屬牙橋(bridge)，藉由兩顆鄰牙(101、202)輔助，讓接受治療的第一門齒( 201 )有足夠的固持力，結構更穩固。
3D列印的牙橋裝上後半年回診追蹤，患犬使用牙橋的狀況良好，飼主表示有每天刷牙保養牙齒，因此Mojo的牙齒及口腔清潔狀況都很不錯。
“Mojo” is a male Sheltie dog (Shetland Sheepdog) and he was about 1 year old when he came to our hospital for treatment, two months before the first visit (10 months old), the left maxillary first incisor (201) was fractured due to a fall. After evaluation, the pulp of the patient’s fractured tooth (201) has been exposed, which belongs to complicated crown fracture, and it needs endodontics. Because the stump of tooth is too close to the gingival sulcus, the surface area is insufficient, if only a single crown is installed after endodontics, it may fall off due to insufficient retention.
Therefore, Dr. Chung-Wei Chen decided to install a post after and a 3D printed metal bridge after endodontics, in this way, with the assistance of two adjacent teeth (101, 202), 201 will have sufficient retention and the structure will be more stable.
6 months after the 3D printed dental bridge was installed, the patient returned to follow up, his dental bridge is in good condition and is in good use. The owner said that she brushes Mojo’s teeth every day, so his dental health and oral hygiene are maintained very well.
